About Our Client:
A prestigious university in Dubai is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Director to join their team. This leading institution is renowned for its commitment to academic excellence, a collaborative work environment, and a forward-thinking approach to education and staff development.

Job Summary:
The HR Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the university's human resources practices and processes. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the university’s goals and ensure the well-being of its faculty and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the university’s vision and strategic goals.
  • Talent Management: Oversee the recruitment, selection, onboarding, and development processes to attract and retain top talent. Implement training programs and professional development plans.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive and inclusive work culture by addressing employee concerns, resolving conflicts, and ensuring compliance with UAE labor laws.
  • Performance Management: Develop and oversee performance appraisal systems to drive a high-performance culture.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Manage salary structures, benefits programs, and reward systems to ensure competitive and fair compensation.
  • Policy Development: Create and update HR policies, ensuring alignment with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Compliance & Regulations: Ensure the university adheres to all UAE labor laws and regulations, including visa and residency requirements for employees.

  • Working Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Working Days: 5 days per week
  • Duration: One year, subject to renewal

  • Salary Range: AED 25,000 - AED 30,000 per month
  • Air Tickets: One per year for the employee, spouse, and up to 2 children under 18 years old

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior management or director-level role. Experience within the education sector is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and HR best practices.
    • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
    • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic thinking abilities.
    • Proficiency in HR software and data analysis.
