Our client, a prestigious private hospital in Riyadh, is renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Pediatric Emergency Medicine to join their esteemed team.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide expert clinical care for pediatric patients with acute and emergency conditions.
  • Perform diagnostic evaluations, manage treatment plans, and execute necessary interventions.
  • Stabilize and manage critically ill or injured children in emergency situations.
  • Conduct emergency procedures and life-saving interventions as needed.
  • Lead and supervise junior medical staff, residents, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with other specialists and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and implement clinical protocols and guidelines for pediatric emergency care.
  • Participate in and contribute to educational programs for medical staff and trainees.
  • Conduct workshops, seminars, and training sessions on pediatric emergency medicine.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements and research in pediatric emergency care.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and care plans.
  • Provide compassionate care and support to families during stressful situations.
  • Engage in clinical research and contribute to studies aimed at improving pediatric emergency care.
  • Publish research findings in relevant medical journals and present at conferences.

WORKING CONDITION

  • Working Hours: 48 hours per week, with flexible straight shifts (daytime and night shifts).
  • Contract Period: Initial 2-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement.
  • Probation Period: 6 months.
  • Family Contract: Includes candidate, spouse, and up to two children.

EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Medical School Graduation: Must be a graduate of a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
  2. Specialty Training: Must have successfully completed specialty training in Pediatrics, with certification from either Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualifications as recognized by the SCFHS.
  3. Subspecialty: Fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine
  4. Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience is required for Tier 1 qualifications, and at least 5 years of professional experience post-certification for Tier 2 qualifications.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

  • Competitive salary range of SAR 55,000 – 75,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.
  • Housing or housing allowance provided.
  • Transportation or transportation allowance provided.
  • Child education allowance covering up to two children aged 6 to 18 (if available and within Riyadh).
  • Annual air tickets for employee and authorized dependents.
