Our client, a prestigious private hospital in Riyadh, is renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon to join their esteemed team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform surgical procedures to treat musculoskeletal injuries and disorders, including fractures, joint injuries, and degenerative conditions.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments, including physical examinations and diagnostic tests, to determine the most appropriate surgical approach.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, considering factors such as age, overall health, and severity of the condition.
- Provide post-operative care, including monitoring patients’ recovery progress, managing pain, and addressing any complications that may arise.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including radiologists, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in medical rounds, case conferences, and educational activities to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues and medical staff.
- Stay abreast of advancements in orthopedic surgery techniques, technologies, and treatment modalities through continuous medical education and professional development.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, documentation, and patient charts in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices.
WORKING CONDITION
- Working Hours: 48 hours per week, with flexible straight shifts (daytime and afternoon).
- Contract Period: Initial 2-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement.
- Probation Period: 6 months.
- Family Contract: Includes candidate, spouse, and up to two children.
EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
- Medical School Graduation: Must be a graduate of a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
- Specialty Training: Must have successfully completed specialty training in Orthopedic Surgery, with certification from either Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualifications as recognized by the SCFHS.
- Subspecialty: Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery is a plus
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience is required for Tier 1 qualifications, and at least 5 years of professional experience post-certification for Tier 2 qualifications.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Competitive salary range of SAR 55,000 – 80,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.
