Our client, a prestigious private hospital in Riyadh, is renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Family Medicine with any subspecialty to join their esteemed team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of acute and chronic conditions in patients of all ages.
- Conduct routine health check-ups, preventive care, and screening programs, including immunizations and wellness advice.
- Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and other long-term conditions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through ongoing care and monitoring.
- Perform minor surgical procedures and emergency care as needed, including suturing, wound care, and basic trauma management.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, incorporating patient preferences and evidence-based guidelines.
- Coordinate with specialists, therapists, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care, including referrals for specialized treatment when necessary.
- Provide expert consultation and second opinions on complex cases, ensuring that patients receive the most appropriate care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting assessments, treatment plans, follow-ups, and outcomes.
- Engage in patient education, counseling on lifestyle modifications, disease prevention, and health maintenance.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases, care plans, and treatment strategies.
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors, residents, and medical students in family medicine.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in family medicine, incorporating new knowledge and practices into patient care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines within the department.
- Participate in the hospital’s quality improvement and patient safety initiatives, focusing on enhancing care delivery and patient outcomes.
- Engage in clinical research and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals, contributing to the advancement of family medicine.
- Provide leadership in community health initiatives, promoting public health and wellness programs.
WORKING CONDITION
- Working Hours: 48 hours per week, with flexible straight shifts (daytime and afternoon).
- Contract Period: Initial 2-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement.
- Probation Period: 6 months.
- Family Contract: Includes candidate, spouse, and up to two children.
EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
- Medical School Graduation: Must be a graduate of a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
- Specialty Training: Must have successfully completed specialty training in Family Medicine, with certification from either Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualifications as recognized by the SCFHS.
- Subspecialty: Any subspecialty qualification is considered an added advantage.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience is required for Tier 1 qualifications, and at least 5 years of professional experience post-certification for Tier 2 qualifications.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Competitive salary range of SAR 50,000 – 65,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.
