Our client, a prestigious private hospital in Riyadh, is renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Hematologist to join their esteemed team.
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Diagnose and manage a range of hematological disorders in pediatric patients, including anemia, hemophilia, leukemia, lymphoma, and other blood disorders.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, including physical examinations, patient history reviews, and diagnostic tests such as blood tests, bone marrow biopsies, and genetic studies.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including pharmacologic, transfusion, and chemotherapy protocols, as well as other therapeutic interventions.
  • Provide expert consultation to other healthcare providers regarding complex hematological cases and coordinate care with other specialists, such as oncologists, surgeons, and radiologists.
  • Manage and monitor the long-term care of children with chronic or complex hematological conditions, ensuring comprehensive and continuous care.
  • Perform and interpret advanced diagnostic procedures and laboratory tests to assess hematological function and disease progression.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases, treatment plans, and progress, ensuring a coordinated approach to care.
  • Stay current with the latest advancements in pediatric hematology, incorporating new research findings and treatment modalities into clinical practice.
  • Engage in clinical research to advance the understanding and treatment of pediatric hematological disorders, contributing to academic publications and presentations.
  • Provide education and training to medical students, residents, and other healthcare professionals in the field of pediatric hematology.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and patient outcomes.
  • Participate in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives focused on enhancing hematology services and patient care.
  • Act as a liaison between the hospital and external organizations, such as blood banks, research institutions, and support groups, to ensure holistic care for pediatric patients.
  • Provide leadership in community health initiatives related to hematological disorders, including awareness campaigns and educational programs for families and caregivers.

WORKING CONDITION

  • Working Hours: 48 hours per week, with flexible straight shifts (daytime and afternoon).
  • Contract Period: Initial 2-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement.
  • Probation Period: 6 months.
  • Family Contract: Includes candidate, spouse, and up to two children.

EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Medical School Graduation: Must be a graduate of a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
  2. Specialty Training: Must have successfully completed specialty training in Pediatrics, with certification from either Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualifications as recognized by the SCFHS.
  3. Subspecialty: Completion of a recognized residency program in Pediatrics, followed by fellowship training in Pediatric Hematology
  4. Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience is required for Tier 1 qualifications, and at least 5 years of professional experience post-certification for Tier 2 qualifications.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

  • Competitive salary range of SAR 50,000 – 75,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.

  • Child education allowance covering up to two children aged 6 to 18 (if available and within Riyadh).
