Our client, a prestigious private hospital in Riyadh, is renowned for its commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant IVF to join their esteemed team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Diagnose and treat infertility in patients, using advanced reproductive technologies including IVF, ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection), and other assisted reproductive techniques.
- Perform IVF procedures, including egg retrievals, embryo transfers, and monitoring of ovarian stimulation protocols.
- Conduct comprehensive fertility assessments, including hormonal evaluations, ultrasound scans, and semen analysis.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients, considering medical history, fertility issues, and patient preferences.
- Provide counseling to patients and couples on fertility treatment options, success rates, and potential risks.
- Oversee the embryology laboratory, ensuring optimal conditions for fertilization, embryo culture, and cryopreservation.
- Collaborate with gynecologists, urologists, endocrinologists, and other specialists to provide integrated reproductive care.
- Mentor and supervise junior doctors, nurses, and embryologists in the IVF unit.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to complex decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical guidelines related to reproductive medicine and IVF procedures.
- Engage in research activities, contributing to the advancement of reproductive medicine and fertility treatments.
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at medical and scientific conferences.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in IVF and reproductive technologies, incorporating new techniques into practice.
- Participate in the training and education of medical students, residents, and fellows specializing in reproductive medicine.
- Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of patient consultations, treatment plans, procedures, and outcomes.
- Maintain high standards of patient care, focusing on safety, comfort, and successful treatment outcomes.
WORKING CONDITION
- Working Hours: 48 hours per week, with flexible straight shifts (daytime and afternoon).
- Contract Period: Initial 2-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement.
- Probation Period: 6 months.
- Family Contract: Includes candidate, spouse, and up to two children.
EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
- Medical School Graduation: Must be a graduate of a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
- Specialty Training: Must have successfully completed specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with certification from either Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualifications as recognized by the SCFHS.
- Subspecialty: Fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility or equivalent advanced training in IVF and assisted reproductive technologies.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience is required for Tier 1 qualifications, and at least 5 years of professional experience post-certification for Tier 2 qualifications.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Competitive salary range of SAR 55,000 – 80,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.
