Our client, a leading healthcare facility in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a qualified Specialist in ICU to join their intensive care team. This position involves working under the supervision of senior consultants and is ideal for candidates with structured training in Internal Medicine..
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • ICU Patient Care: Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including monitoring vital signs, managing complex medical conditions, and responding to emergencies, under the guidance of a supervising consultant.
  • Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of ICU patients, including taking detailed medical histories, performing physical examinations, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
  • Treatment and Management: Collaborate with supervising consultants to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for ICU patients, ensuring optimal care and outcomes.
  • Emergency Response: Assist in managing acute medical emergencies and critical situations, including the use of advanced life support techniques and interventions.
  • Medical Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patient care, treatment plans, and procedural outcomes, adhering to hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Family Communication: Communicate effectively with patients’ families, providing updates on patient status, treatment plans, and prognosis, while offering support and answering questions.
  • Educational Development: Participate in structured training programs, continuing education, and case reviews to enhance clinical skills and knowledge in internal medicine and intensive care.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, respiratory therapists, and other specialists, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care..

WORKING CONDITION

  • Working Hours: 48 hours per week, Rotating Shifts (Day, Afternoon, Night).
  • Contract Period: Initial 2-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement.
  • Probation Period: 6 months.
  • Family Contract: Includes candidate, spouse, and up to two children.

EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Medical School Graduation: Must be a graduate of a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
  2. Specialty Training: Must have completed specialty training in Internal Medicine, with certification from either Tier 2 or Tier 3 qualifications as recognized by the SCFHS.
  3. Subspecialty: Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine
  4. Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience is required for Tier 3 qualifications, and from 0 to 5 years of professional experience post-certification for Tier 2 qualifications..

SALARY AND BENEFITS

  • Competitive salary range of SAR 35000 – 50,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.

  • Child education allowance covering up to two children aged 6 to 18 (if available and within Riyadh).
