Our client, a renowned healthcare facility in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a skilled Specialist in Internal Medicine to join their team. This role is suited for an experienced physician who can operate independently, managing complex cases.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive medical care to adult patients, including diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of internal medicine conditions and diseases.
- Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests to develop accurate diagnoses.
- Treatment Plans: Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and diagnostic results.
- Medical Procedures: Perform and interpret various medical procedures and tests to support diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Emergency Care: Manage acute and chronic medical conditions, including responding to emergencies and providing critical care as needed.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, preventive measures, and lifestyle changes.
- Collaboration: Work with multidisciplinary teams, including specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care and ensure comprehensive treatment.
- Medical Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and stay current with advancements in internal medicine through ongoing professional development and education.
WORKING CONDITION
- Working Hours: 48 hours per week, Rotating Shifts (Day, Afternoon, Night).
- Contract Period: Initial 2-year contract, renewable upon mutual agreement.
- Probation Period: 6 months.
- Family Contract: Includes candidate, spouse, and up to two children.
EDUCATIONAL/PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:
- Medical School Graduation: Must be a graduate of a recognized medical school accredited by the Medical Council of the country of origin.
- Specialty Training: Must have completed specialty training in Internal Medicine, with certification from either Tier 2 or Tier 3 qualifications as recognized by the SCFHS.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience is required for Tier 3 qualifications, and from 0 to 5 years of professional experience post-certification for Tier 2 qualifications..
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- Competitive salary range of SAR 35000 – 45,000, commensurate with qualifications, experience, and clinical/surgical expertise.
